This is a huge time in your life and it is so great to be young! This is the time to document where you are in life, to take gorgeous photos that you will look back on forever. To get all fancy and dressed up and reward yourself!

Wardrobe + Styling Tips

The best thing is to be true to yourself! Self confidence is the best outfit you will ever wear, so be sure to bring that along! Don't stress and try to relax, we are going to make your photo's amazing! Choose clothing that reflects your style and compliments the location you have chosen. New outfits are amazing and can make you feel really great, but be sure to bring some of you old time favorites as well. Bring several changes.

LAYERING Layering is not only fun, but it is also important for battling the elements if you are having an outdoor shoot. Another positive is that quickly removing a piece can quickly change your entire outfit, Layering is your friend!

BE COMFORTABLE Everyone has their own personal style and senior portraits are definitely a time for your style to shine. Not to mention, you are going to feel the most at ease if you are comfortable in your clothing. Choose outfits that are flattering, but do not make you self-conscious. Now is probably not the best time to try out 6” heels if you normally wear flats! COLOR Wear colors that flatter your skin-tone and offer a bit of contrast. For example, if you hair is blonde, choose colors that medium to dark so that they don’t blend in with your hair/skin. Choose brights very carefully as colors cast color shadows, which may not be flattering.
